Act as a resource person for Sales for all hardware related information and activities. Function as a product specialist for hardware and assist the sales team in researching information about products, recommend hardware solutions and specify products for sale to customers. Actively participate in bid and RFP process, ascertaining Softmart's ability to meet customer requirements, specifying correct products to bid, as well as working with both Sales and the Vendor to get special pricing when necessary. Good understanding of the sales process, strong technical knowledge of personal computer hardware, excellent presentation, communication and organizational skills, network experience a plus. College degree or strong work equivalent!
